- Idols are alive and well today
- Idolatry among Christians is more common than the sin of unforgiveness!
- An idol is ANYTHING that you give place in your heart or in your mind that comes first before God.
- Idols will steal your giftings
- Idols can make you deaf, dumb, blind, unable to walk, or diseased
- Idolatry is the easiest sin to engage in because it blends so well with our natural wants and desires
- The devil uses idolatry as his solution to stress, trauma, and anxiety
- A wounded soul is an open door to the enemy to entice us to idolatry
- Shopping, food, sports, entertainments...anything we turn to to comfort our souls or distract us from pain can be an idol
- Behind every idol is a demon
- Idols give demonic spirits the legal right to attack us
- Once an idol captures our soul, it drives us to lust after these idols, causing your mind, will, and emotions to fixate on satisfying that desire
- If you catch yourself thinking or desiring something all the time, you have probably made that item or activity an idol, and that idol is waging war against your soul.
- It is impossible for an idol to operate without an evil altar.
- What you have "in common" gives power—legal access and power to control, manipulate, and drive your soul.
- There are two landing strips for idolatry to influence your life:
a wounded soul and the courts of heaven - Idols are screaming in our minds night and day—"You need this, buy that, watch that, do such and such..." The only way to stop them from rioting is to heal the soul and take the demonic spirits to the courts of heaven.
- Idols and their altars can (and must) be arrested in the courts of heaven to break their hold in your life
- Idolatry is a LAW issue. The first commandment is "Thou shall have not other idols before Me." The very demon gods that entice are the ones that launch legal attacks against us in the courts of heaven for breaking the law.
- The litmus test for an idol: When you go to pray or worship the Lord, what thoughts bombard your mind? Those are your idols trying to distract you from the Lord.
- Idolatry requires repentance so the blood of Jesus can acquit you and set you free in the Courts of Heaven
- We create our own warfare when we set up altars both to God and to other idols in our soul.
- A lot of what we call spiritual warfare is self-inflicted!
- While we create altars to our idols in our soul, the effects are often experienced in our flesh!
- Idols can't see, hear, speak, or walk. Idolatry can be the source of cataracts, blindness, floaters, deafness, tinnitus, arthritis, tumors, back pain and spine issues....
- Miracles explode when idols and their altars are exposed and dealt with!
The closing prayers alone are worth your time investment in watching the replay! I know I wanted to stay in this place with the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to search my soul for wounds and idols so I could get healed and free.
