Greetings, grace, and peace to you Wanda, 1.8 million children are trafficked each year across the globe. How can we bring God's Justice to those in darkness? The helpless and vulnerable? In 2004, Matt Sorger was visiting the nation of India. On this trip, he witnessed first-hand the abuse of children on the street. Not only did he see orphaned children being taken advantage of by "handlers" who used them to beg and make money, but he also saw young children offering themselves sexually. At that moment, he made a decision to help these voiceless, defenseless children. After Matt & Stephanie Sorger married in 2014, they launched Rescue1. Together, with a team of dedicated men and women in southern India, they rescued 165 children from abandonment, sex trafficking, brothels & temple prostitution and brought them under the care of Rescue1.

Rescue1's mission is to rescue sex-trafficked and abandoned children in the world's darkest places. Rescue1 not only feeds hungry children but provides full care support to those children who have suffered the trauma of sex trafficking, giving the children the opportunity to find Jesus as their Savior. To this date, over 200 children have been rescued. The goal is to save 1,500 children. Unlike many other relief organizations, Rescue1 goes into to the hardest places on the planet, reaching into both Christian and non-Christian regions. Rescue1 is rapidly growing and expanding thanks to its amazing sponsor family. Grace and peace to you, Wanda, Can a Christian have an idol? Satan has convinced Believers that idolatry is a relic of ancient times or isolated to those practicing pagan religions. And while you probably don't have a carved image you bow down to…

…idols are more common that you think, plaguing many, if not most, Christians, today! They do things like steal your giftings, bring disease and infirmity, affect your finances, sow strife in your relationships, and so much more. In fact, if you are struggling with oppression, infirmity, fulfilling your calling, or have a troubled history in your finances or relationships that no amount of prayer, deliverance, or resisting the devil overcomes, it's likely you are dealing with a root of idolatry. An idol is ANYTHING—a person, place, thing, or activity—that comes first before God in your heart. They are cloaked in the guise of our needs or desires. They often enter as a coping mechanism for stress, trauma, or heart wounds.

Do you crave carbs when you are stressed out? Has fitness taken first place in your life? What do you turn to when you feel overwhelmed? While enjoying a nice meal, working out, or engaging in entertainment is not automatic idolatry, when these activities become the mechanism that you turn to for peace or comfort, they become idols. Grace and peace to you multiplied, Wanda, Throughout time, God has consistently spoken to mankind through dreams and visions of the night. God uses dreams as His special language to provide divine counsel, save people and nations, and change the course of history.

For most people, these divine revelations of the night are seen as a special gift reserved for dreamers like Joseph, Daniel, and modern-day prophets. For others, divine dreams are few and far between, difficult to understand, and seemingly random in their occurrence or frequency. But dreams are not supposed to be a rare or exclusive gift for just a few. God is the one who promised He would pour out His Spirit on ALL flesh, and a primary result would be dreams! Since He has promised to give dreams, visions, and revelation—He has also provided a way to cultivate a lifestyle that welcomes them!

Just like other spiritual gifts, to the measure you value, earnestly desire, and steward your dreams, you can intentionally increase the frequency and clarity of the divine revelation you receive from God while you sleep. Creating your own dream culture will require you to learn how to identify and eliminate the dream busters, dream thieves, and dream drains in your life. You will need to learn the wisdom ways of God to steward your dreams, while understanding your spheres of authority, and how to apply what God reveals in your sleep.
