Dear Wanda, God blesses His people with many resources, including money, but that blessing comes with the responsibility of using it for God's glory. When I saw my good friend Craig Hill is hosting a free webinar today at 8 pm Eastern titled "A Christian alternative to traditional health insurance", I felt led to share that with you and others in my audience. Like Craig and Jan Hill, my wife and I opted out of the traditional health insurance system years ago (2015) and have been very grateful we did. In addition to saving thousands of dollars a year in insurance premiums, we are now supporting a Biblical model for healthcare (and cost sharing) instead of "feeding the beast" that makes healthcare so expensive and impersonal. Our experience with Samaritan Ministries has been wonderful. Our monthly Samaritan contribution for 11 months of the year goes directly to another Samaritan member to meet their medical financial need and none of our money is used for abortion or goes to fund activities contrary to our Biblical values.
