Dear Wanda, On March 13, Kathleen Barry reached out to Empower 2000 (E2000) in desperation sharing her story and asking for help. Jacob Czebiniak, the Customer Experience Manager for E2000, forwarded her email to me. After reading Kathleen's message on March 14, I replied to Jacob saying, "My heart was deeply touched by her transparency and predicament. It would be nice if E2000 could reach out to people like this and provide an immediate or short-term solution, and not just pray. I am now considering hosting a webinar (E-need and E-seed) to address needs like this." The next morning I was inspired to call Kathleen. We had a wonderful conversation and time of prayer. Out of obedience, I was led to sow a financial seed to bless Kathleen in her time of need.

I also was led invite Kathleen to our guest for the E2000 core prayer team meeting on Tuesday March 21 and to be our guest for the Empower Disciples webinar on Thursday March 23 at 2 pm Eastern. The title of the ED webinar on March 23 from 2-3:20 pm Eastern will be "Good News for the Poor: E-Need and E-Seed". In addition to Kathleen, we will have a few other guest panelists. Two decades ago, Pastor Mark Jarvis, who led me to a personal relationship with Jesus, shared his idea for "E-need" and "E-seed" in which people's needs are matched up with people and seeds to remove people from their pits of despair. Many people in the body of Christ are suffering right now. It's time for us to be good Samaritans. Bob Goff wrote a book titled, "Love Does"! Let's manifest that. | |
Heavenly Father, thank you Kathleen having the courage to reach out to me and E2000 to ask for help in her time of desperation. Thank you moving me to respond quickly before it was too late. May You use Kathleen's story to wake up Your people to be good Samaritans—to manifest Your love and Your goodness to people around them. We ask You to turn the "E-need and E-seed" into a movement that removes people from their pits of despair and offers real hope and real solutions. Awaken Your bride, O God. In Jesus' name, we pray.
