It is clear throughout scripture that God has a calendar! Here are just a few examples: - The set feasts or appointed seasons of the Lord which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, even My set feasts, are these (Leviticus 23:2).
- You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come (Psalm 102:13)
- And when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all assembled together in one place, when suddenly there came a sound... (Acts 2:1-2).
Did you know that Satan has a calendar, too? Neither did I. At least not until God began to give me a tremendous revelation when I started spiritually mapping my life! What I found was that at the same season EVERY YEAR, I would be attacked by a cloud of confusion. When I noticed the cyclical nature of this attack and compared it to the Lord's Hebraic calendar, I saw that every attack correlated with one of God's most important appointments – Rosh Hashanah, or the Jewish New Year. This is the exact season that God releases fresh revelation and direction for his people through the prophets! As soon as I recognized the pattern, I was able to anticipate the attack and prepare in advance with prayer and fasting. The severity and length of the attacks began to shorten. And after a few seasons, the attacks stopped altogether. What was happening? Satan recognized that God had an open window of revelation for all His prophetic people every Rosh Hashanah. It was on God's calendar. The enemy sowed confusion and fogginess over me to bring static into the airwaves at the exact season God intended to give me clarity and direction for the new year. Once I discerned the devil's schemes, I was able to flip the narrative and turn what used to be a time of confusion into an appointment with destiny! You have an appointment with destiny, too! Learn how you can recognize it, protect it, and prepare in advance to unveil the enemy's plans and welcome God's purpose for your life in my upcoming class, Deliverance from Darkness. |
