Dear Wanda, I was so inspired by Pam Gould's Uncommon Journaling session, that I wanted to let you in on the profound teaching she shared with our Empower Disciples members in March. Regardless of where you fall on the journaling spectrum, Pam's message will challenge you to upgrade your spiritual technology. Prepare to take a quantum leap in your spiritual impact and effectiveness!

She opened her message with a word the Lord shared with her at the beginning of 2020: "Journaling is a sacrament." Don't start throwing stones yet. Pam was just as shocked as you when the Lord whispered this in her heart. But she didn't stop there. The Lord took her on a spiritual journey to unpack the power of this revelation. The resulting message is dynamite. Here are some highlights: Journaling is a sacrament–best done daily. A sacrament, i.e. communion or baptism, is defined as an outward sign of a spiritual reality and a channel for God's grace. Journaling is an activation of God's grace in you through an outward sign that identifies His purpose and direction for you. Journaling with God IS communion (communication with the Holy Spirit) Journaling with God IS baptism (daily washing in the Word of scripture and the quickening of the Holy Spirit). This baptism is the intentional, daily presentation of the heart before the Lord – allowing Him to bring about repentance, revelation, and change. Journaling is a Spiritual Technology. Revelation comes with AUTHORIZATION (Pam shares a powerful example from the story of the Centurion like you have never heard before). Journaling is a vehicle to remove hindrances and bring steady growth in grace and strength to complete your kingdom assignments. Regardless of your history with journaling, I encourage you to pause this Sabbath and take a listen to this message.
