Grace and peace to you, Wanda, Patricia King kicked off our annual Discerning the Times and Seasons series (hosted by James Goll) with a profound message! As James Goll had said in his word for 2022, this is a season where God is giving out marching orders. Well, this message won't disappoint! Patricia King is carrying a word from the Lord that are key to position yourself for victory in not only the coming YEAR, but the coming DECADE.

In a prophetic encounter, Patricia heard the Lord proclaim, "When kings go to war!" We are in a very clear warfare season. It's not a time to be afraid, but it requires a different mindset. We must be engaged in the battle that is before us, or there could be serious consequences. Here are some highlights that Patricia shared: Engage: In the spring, at the time that kings go out to battle, David stayed back, and we all know the consequences–Bathsheba, the death of Uriah, and David's spiraling sin. If you are in retreat when you are supposed to be in war, you are susceptible to attack. Posture is Important: When kings went to war, it was with an offensive posture to advance, possess, and occupy new territory. We must not approach this season with a defensive posture, a victim mentality, or fear. We must be aggressive, intentional, and expect to advance in victory. Expect recovery in 2022 of what was lost in past seasons: When you are in war, there can be distress, but don't stay there. David was in distress when the enemy had destroyed his city and taken all the women, children, and possessions. But David didn't go into self-pity. He strengthened himself in the Lord. We need to stay before the Lord's face like never before. Many things will shake, but we must inquire of the Lord, and pursue what was lost in past seasons. This is a year of RECOVERY. HIGHLIGHTED WEAPONS OF WAR FOR 2022: Decree the Word of God: Every promise of God is yes and amen to you. His Word is God's government and you can speak it into your future and speak it into the enemy's heart. According to Isaiah 55:11 and Job 22:28, God's word is like a missile. Mark your target and send the word to hit it. Praise: The battle of Jehoshaphat (2 Chron. 20:20-25) and Paul and Silas (Acts 16:25) show the power of praise. Fill the atmosphere of your home with praise. Consecrated Life: When we live our lives set apart to God and His ways, there is promise for great things. This is a year to let the Holy Spirit search you. Fast and pray and ask the Lord if there are things in your life that don't belong on the battlefield. When you are in a season of war, sin is dangerous. It makes you captive to the enemy. (Joshua 3:5) Pray in the Spirit: Praying in the Spirit is key to getting the victory. You don't have to wonder how to pray or what to say to win the battle. The Spirit will pray through you to secure your victory, strengthen, and edify you.
