Grace and peace to you multiplied Wanda, Jerusalem is one of the most contested cities in all history. She evokes a wide expression of deeply felt emotions. Even Jesus displayed a divine jealousy over this city's destiny. Clearly, Jerusalem holds a distinct prophetic place in the heart of God.

That's probably why Satan hates Jerusalem just like he hates the Jewish people. Today there is a renewed alliance of hatred against God's people. It's as if the anti-Semitic spirit of Haman has stepped from the book of Esther into new death-dealing entities including Hamas and other militant Islamic organizations. And it doesn't stop there. Anti-Semitism and anti-Israel rhetoric are on the rise across the nations. Even as the forces against Israel have intensified in recent years, so has a new understanding of God's heart for Jerusalem and His prophetic promises for the Jewish people.

But it's complicated. God prophesied through Zechariah that Jerusalem would be "a heavy stone for all the peoples…" All means ALL. The questions and issues arising around Jerusalem are not easy to resolve. Many people, maybe including you, still have questions regarding the details!
