Dear Wanda, During his webinar last week about prophetic insights for 2021, James Goll talked about three different types of storms and how our response differs for each: Storms of God's judgment Storms of dark, demonic attack Storms of the consequences of sins When we are in the midst of storms of confusion and conflict, our response needs to be a cry for mercy. Broken and humbled, we confess our sins, and we confess generational sins. When God allows storms of demonic attack, we need to eliminate any common ground with the enemy first and then stand in an authoritative place of intercession. We rebuke this kind of storm. In order to press through storms that are the direct result of human sin, or ones that are of a corporate body of people, we need to enter into identificational repentance, asking the Lord to forgive sins that we ourselves may not have committed. This requires humility, and it requires a lack of defensiveness.
