Many people are searching for meaning, going from prophet to prophet for a word of what God has for them, when they could just connect to the Spirit, and get God's vision for their life. Stay in the Spirit and God will begin to open realms, revelation, visions, knowings, words of knowledge, prophecies, instruction. We live in a microwave generation. We need to cultivate time waiting on the Lord. Tongues is a powerful way to spend quality time in the Spirit. Praying in tongues released the power and presence of God for miracles, prophecies, deliverance, boldness, healing, words of knowledge, and direction. Tongues can command situations. Jesus commanded the winds and the waves in the storm. We are joint heirs with Christ, and in the Spirit we share with Him, there is a level of commanding natural and spiritual elements. There are angelic tongues that release and command angels in your situation. There are warfare tongues that will nullify the attacks of the enemy and cancel assignments before they come to pass. Tongues can be a vehicle of for the Lord to reveal| His word, direction, comfort, and communion. Tongues can loose, bind, and take authority over demonic realms. Don't just pray. Pray through. Be intentional. Set a target and pray in tongues until you see the breakthrough. Tongues can change hearts. Jacob wrestled until he got the blessing...and Esau's heart was changed. Instead of murdering his brother, he fell on his neck and kissed him. Praying in tongues brings you into the Spirit of truth. Paul prayed in the Spirit and prayed with understanding. This is a biblical pattern for us. Many prayers we pray are our will, requesting God's blessing. Pray in the Spirit first, get the Spirit of truth to inform you what God's will is, then pray with understadning in agreement with God. The easiest way to hear God's voice is to spend time praying in the Spirit. If you are in ministry, you should at minimum be praying in the Spirit for one hour every day. If you are longing for connection to the Father, direction for living, power for victory, anointing for ministry, and intimacy with the Lord this message is one you have to watch.
