Celebrate what's right!

"It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor." - George Washington in the original Thanksgiving Proclamation 1789.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. (James 1:17)

Dear Wanda,

I hope this note finds you well, as we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving in the United States of America.

So much has happened in 2020. I doubt if any of us in our wildest imagination could have anticipated such a turbulent year with incredible shaking.

Yet God is using the shakings to AWAKEN His bride from a perilous slumber.

It is in the midst of the fierce storms that many people have drawn closer to Almighty God, trusting Him for protection, provision, and freedom.

Thanksgiving is the #1 core value for me and Empower 2000. In my experience, being thankful creates an environment for love, joy, and peace to abound and that is where God's presence manifests most powerfully and profoundly.

There is a protocol for entering the presence of the King and that begins with thanksgiving. We thank God for what He gives to us and we praise Him for who He is.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. (Psalm 100:4)

The whole process of renewing your mind and atonement can be summed up in one word, gratitude.

I encourage you to visit the links below and to share those with family and friends.

PRAYER POWER

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of You and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. Thank You for every good gift that comes from above, from You, the Father of lights from Whom there is no varying (James 1:17).

Thank You for always being good and faithful, even in the midst of storms of life. Thank You that Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen".

Father, help each of us to grow in our thankfulness. May we always remember that You are the source of our liberty and the foundation of America. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen and hallelujah.

Blessings for a special Thanksgiving celebration!

Joseph
