More Testimonies: James just has a way of explaining things that help his teaching make sense. I loved the part where Dr James Goll talks about how God will give each an anointing and his illustrations about the different shoes he used to see in the early days of ministry. I felt the different illustrations he had and the stories he shared helped me to see and understand. I was greatly ministered to when James talked about accountability and servanthood. I have been deeply encouraged to keep pursuing Jesus, to be faithful to the process, and in serving in His ways... I loved it when James said the anointing is the fullness of Christ Jesus, of power and character. So Much Confirmation. Hunger and Thirsting Mixed With Worship. Holy Spirit Is So Trustworthy. Wow, so much and so awesome! James was talking about what the anointing IS, and what really stood out to me was that, "Jesus is the anointing!" It's Jesus! I never saw it quite like that! It clicked! There was so much that was a first for me that I really want to watch this again! One thing I appreciate about James Goll is his "pause" when sharing so that one captures the essence of the point he is trying to get across. There were so many good nuggets like "Before honor, comes humility", "Try on many shoes and hats", "The depth of your hunger is the length of your reach to God", and "Hang out with others who love the anointing". I'm passionate about servant leadership so "Go after servanthood" really resonated with me. Thank you for listing ways of moving in the anointing. I am a feeler and operate in a gift of healing, Scripture and compassion anointing. As a feeler I struggle with acceptance when my emotions are evident. I also hunger for the revelatory gifts and feel stuck at this time, not able to hear, but later realize He moved me. Realizing that there are many ways that the anointing shows up in our lives. The explanation of residential and circumstantial gifting helps to clarify that just because you have been used–maybe even powerfully–does not necessarily define your gifting/call.
